About this program
Our beloved afterschool program with MCPS is back! Kids are picked up from their classroom to spend the afternoon building relationships and exploring fun activities. The day includes structured and unstructured supervised play, a snack, and special programming from various organizations. This program is subsidized by the City of Missoula, Lowell PTA, and the community school partnership with MCPS. Kids are grouped by grade/teacher, serving Trailblazer -5th grade. Pick up between 5-5:30 in the Cafeteria. Sign up online or call 721-PARK (7275) today! Apply for the 2026 – 2027 Lowell Sliding Fee Scale and Best Beginnings Program before registering; see the qualifying income levels and Best Beginnings information here Opens in a new tab. Families must reapply for this school year regardless of previous years’ participation. No family will be turned away due to inability to pay.
