About this event
September marks Welcoming Week, a nationwide celebration that brings communities across the United States together to honor refugees, immigrants, and neighbors of all backgrounds.
Like last year, Soft Landing Missoula is excited to double down on this spirit by making September “The Month of Welcome,” with a full calendar of events designed to build connections, celebrate diversity, and reaffirm Missoula as a warm and inclusive place for all. This month we’re excited to partner with The Roxy Theater to create a space for new neighbors to share film and traditions from home.
Join us Friday, September 11, as we celebrate Soft Landing Missoula’s tenth year of welcoming new neighbors with a Bollywood Party at the Roxy Annex! The evening kicks off at 5 p.m. with henna art by women from Soft Landing- free for everyone, with tips appreciated but never expected. Across the street, Zeera Food Truck will be serving delicious Pakistani food in partnership for the celebration. At 7 p.m., settle in for a special screening of a surprise Bollywood film.
